A 'Gallant' Police Corporal In Abuja Has Killed His Boss, An Inspector As Well As A Lady They Both Had Interests In.

A police corporal attached to the Karu Police Station in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, decided to show that he is truly a gallant officer when he gunned down a senior officer, an Inspector, over an argument over who was the real lover of a female recharge card seller.

 Not done with killing his boss, the corporal turned the gun on the object of their disagreement and pumped live bullets into the lady and afterwards, shot himself in an apparent murder-suicide.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred in the evening of Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Karu Town, close to the CBN Junction, when the corporal, who claimed he was the lover of the pretty recharge card seller simply known as Chidinma, saw the inspector and the recharge seller sitting together over some bottles of soft drinks.

The angry lover boy, on sighting his 'oga' with his babe, alighted from the vehicle he was in and accosted the Inspector, accusing him of encroaching into his territory.

He was also said to have accused the lady of being unfaithful to him after he had spent so much money on her.

The inspector, being a senior officer, saw the actions of the corporal as an affront and ordered him to get out of the place immediately or be dealt with decisively.

 But the now incensed junior officer threatened that he was going to kill the lady so that none of them would have her but the Inspector did not take the threat seriously and instead warned the corporal not to do anything silly or he would have himself to blame.

The corporal, still fuming with rage walked away from the inspector and the recharge card seller but unknown to everyone, he corked his AK-47 rifle, walked to the senior officer and the lady and shot the girl who slumped and died on the spot.

Before the inspector could draw his own riffle, the corporal also fired at him and killed him instantly. Having achieved that, the gallant 'Romeo' then turned the gun on himself and killed  himself with one bullet.

Those who knew the lady said she was a poor homeless girl who was taking refuge in a popular church in Karu Town while trying to make ends meet before the ugly incident.
