A Nigerian Is Beaten to Death by Five South African Policemen
The prosecutor’s office in Limpopo presented its arguments in court on a
case where five South African policemen are accused of beating a
Nigerian man till he died.
“I put it to you that you beat him, he fainted and you resuscitated him. He woke up and… you beat him again. You also sprinkled water on him,” the prosecutor posed to the officers.
The victim of the cruel beating, Mr. Onyechiabi Iwuaka died as the
five took him to Polokwame police station. The five policemen have been
arraigned to answer murder and assault charges.
