Lady Hangs Self After Her Family Members Allegedly Squandered Her Life Savings.

According to reports, this young girl by name Jessica from Uganda decided to end her life after finding out that people she had trusted with her money -betrayed her. The said girl used to work in another country and send her savings to her people -only for her to discover on her return that the money had been squandered.

                            

She hanged herself due to the heartbreak and also left a note as seen below.. This tragedy happened last month in Uganda......

Her note simple read out the fact that it was her personal decision to hang herself to death and no one is to be blamed...She added the names of all her debtors requesting all the money to be paid before her corpse is taken to their village for burial. She added her mother's number as well in the note.

                                           

Oba of Benin, Omo n’Oba n’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, is dead

The Edo State Government has issued the statement below announcing the death of the Oba of Benin.

The statement did not say when and how the monarch died.

“Our hearts are heavy, laden with pains and grief, at the announcement of the passing on to glory of Omo n’Oba n’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Erediauwa of Benin, our highly revered Oba, a distinguished Edo numero uno, an accomplished Nigerian, a seasoned bureaucrat, quintessential unifier, unique personage and exemplary Omo N’Oba, whose reign brought distinction, immense class, finesse and integrity to traditional institution in Edo state and the country at large.

“His carriage comes with an élan that was peculiar with the reverence of royalty. His uncommon courage was symbolic of the can-do spirit of the Edo mind. His unity of purpose was not in doubt even as he used his revered position to promote constructive engagement amongst all shades of opinion and culture in Edo state.
“As a thorough-bred bureaucrat, rising to the pinnacle of his career as a Federal Permanent Secretary, he understood the dynamics and intricacies of governance. He was the alternative voice to the many voiceless in our society, calling government attention to issues of development and transparent governance, without minding whose ox is gored. He was brave, fearless, punchy and instructive in his verbal and written messages.

“To us at the Edo state Government, he was our strongest supporter; both in his uncommon faith in our ability and his readiness to offer uncommon advice to sharpen public discourse in our shared commitment to transform Edo state. A mentally unstable woman has given birth to a bouncing baby girl to the shock of residents at Effiakuma in the Sekondi /Takoradi Metropolis in Ghana. According to reports from residents, this is not the first time the mad woman has given birth in the area.... anytime she puts to bed, some neighbors suspected to be her relatives reportedly come for the baby.

                    

The woman was seen by passers-by -cuddling the baby and giving her some water which is believed was from a gutter, a scene that attracted many onlookers.

Blood Bath In Ohaji-Egbema As Cultists Kill Nine In Imo State

Ohaji-Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State turned bloody last weekend, when cultists killed nine people while avenging the killing of one their members by another rival group. The victims including eight males and one female were killed when the DEEWELL cult group reportedly invaded Assa Awara community.

 

The killing of the nine persons was said to have been carried out by DEEWELL against the DEEGBAM cult group, which was alleged to have killed one of the DEEWELL members in the area. This was even as a traditional ruler and two other of his accomplices were detained at the Owerri, the Imo State capital for allegedly killing one Joseph Ihueze over a parcel of land in the same area.



Police sources said that the deceased who was insane inherited a large portion of land
from his father, but the traditional ruler and two other persons killed him to enable them take over the land. The killing however, irked youths who revolted against the traditional ruler causing tension in the area.

Edith is an upcoming Nollywood actress, who played a minor role in “SLOW COUNTRY’’. She has featured in various movies and currently shooting a sitcom.

 Early life and Background

Edith is Nigerian born and hails from Warri in Delta State. She speaks English and Urhobo fluently. She attended Faith Foundation Primary school where she finished in 2000, St Vincent College Warri, delta state where she concluded in 2007. She also had her formal education in Cotonou, Benin Republic. The francophone speaking side of the West African region. She graduated from Houdegbe North America University in Benin republic where she studied Sociology. She was brought up majorly by her rod-sparing mother who pampers her with the good things of life this is because she is the only female child among five brothers. She did not encounter any incidence of child rivalry. She was called “the golden child” by her mother. She is from a middle class family. Her father is a retired social worker while her mother is a business woman.

                                         Career and Life

She started acting from the children’s church when she was 7. The experience from church was fun which motivated her to pursue the career even more. Even though she majored in sociology in school. She has always been more of creative person. Her years in secondary school was not extraordinary. Her life experiences also fostered her passion for acting. Also while in the university she was more of a conservative person. She was more of a “tomboy” while in school she had more of male friends.
