Buhari Is A Liar, Shekau Says

Leader of Islamist sect group Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau has dismissed the Army’s claim of massive gains in the fight to annihilate the terror group in Nigeria’s Northeast. He also mocked President Muhammadu Buhari calling him a liar.



In a 25-minute recording in Hausa and Arabic released via social media, Shekau said: “They (the military) lied that they have confiscated our arms, that we have been chased out of our territories, that we are in disarray.

“We are alive, I am alive, this is my voice, more audible than it was before. This is Shekau.”

Speaking further, the Boko Haram leader said: “Buhari is a liar and has deceived you. The army spokesman is also lying. He and his footsoldiers always run helter-skelter whenever we come face to face with them….

“Buhari, you once claimed that you will crush us in three months. How can you crush us?”

Although there was no indication of where or when the recording was done, reports suggest it must have have been in recent days.

D’banj stripped Of Valuables By Area Boys, Forces Him To The ATM

According to the singer, he showed up for a video shoot in a Toyota RAV 4 with registration number KJA6158BE.

Eyewitness revealed that as soon as the area boys laid their eyes on him, they demanded he settle them with cash but before he could speak a word, they bursted his tyres!

With over 50 area boys crowding him, D’banj was forced to an ATM where he withdrew an undisclosed sum to settle them.

However, the area boys refused to disperse and stripped him of his wristwatch and other jewellery including his shoes.

They only left him alone after policemen came to his rescue.

 

According to an eyewitness who spoke to Entertainer:

“I’m so excited, D’banj came to Tin Can Island to shoot a video and guys saw him. They burst his tires and held him hostage. He had to embrace every one of them and later he took them to an ATM where he withdrew some cash for them and shared among them. I love D’banj; it’s good to be a star.”

Barely 24 hours after news broke out that Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations has acquired a new Gulfstream private jet, worth $65 million, latest report has it that the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has also purchased a similar aircraft.



It was reported by SaharaReporters that following the arrival of the US-registered jet, N730EA Gulfstream G550, Pastor Adeboye has jettisoned an older Gulfstream GIV with tail number N707EA that used to ferry him around the world on his preaching missions.



However, shocking discovery by this newspaper shows that the new acquisition was boldly crested with Pastor Adeboye’s initials ‘EA’ alongside the RCCG logo of a dove, the trademark of the ministry on the tail of the plane.

Three Sisters Give Birth On The Same Day At The Same Hospital

In an unlikely coincidence, three Irish sisters gave birth on the same day at the same hospital. And what’s more remarkable is that their fourth sister was expected to give birth sometime soon after her 3 sisters! Mairead Fitzpatrick and her sisters Joeline Godfrey and Bernie Ward all gave birth at Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar on Tuesday.




While the siblings were given close due dates, they never expected their babies to share the same birthday.

“We never thought it would all happen on the one day,” says Fitzpatrick, who gave birth to her son first at 3:25 a.m. The new mom named him Thomás Óg.

At 11 a.m, Joeline welcomed her daughter, Sorcha, via C-section, and finally around 8:30 p.m., Bernie gave birth to her son Phelim.

“The two girls that delivered my little boy delivered Bernie’s boy as well,” Fitzpatrick said. “So two women delivered two cousins in 24 hours.”

The hospital staff was just as surprised by the remarkable coincidence as the sisters were.

“We’re all talking about it… the fact that we have four sisters in and it’s never happened, as far as we know anyway, going back some time,” said maternity manager Mary Salmon.

Christina Murray, the fourth sister, is now waiting for her little one to arrive. Her due date was on August 30.

“It was just so funny the way it happened really,” Fitzpatrick said. “It was my first, Joeline’s second and Bernie’s third and it’ll be Christina’s fourth.

Davido Travels To Osun To Inspect His Dad’s University, Calls Him A Great Man

The award winning singer paid a visit to the uncompleted university his father is building in Ede, Osun state.

The name of the university is Adeleke University and it is still under construction.

Davido and his brother Adewale Adeleke(who is the Chairman of the HKN record label) visited the university and noticed the progress going on in the site.

Jim Iyke And Lithuanian Girlfriend Welcome Baby Boy

Jim Iyke did a great job hiding his relationship from Nigerian media…who knew he was dating a white woman and had a baby with her? According to The African Eye magazine, who sent the photos to LIB, Jim and his 23 year old Lithuanian girlfriend Dana Kinduryte welcomed a baby boy on September 1st at Grady Hospital, Atlanta. The child has since been named Harvis Chidubem Iyke.

 

According to African Eye, Jim met Dana, a law graduate in London over a year ago but she didn’t even know he was a famous actor until three months after they started dating.

Five months after the couple found out they were expecting a child, Jim moved Dana into his apartment in Atlanta where he cared for her. Jim was said to be present and assisted in the delivery of his first child.

65-Year-Old Landlord Defiles 7-Year-Old-Girl For Rituals – Victim’s Mother Alleges

In another case that has highlighted the increasing child sexual abuses in Nigeria, a 65-year-old landlord, in Akowonjo area of Lagos, Mr. Ganiyu Sani, has allegedly defiled a seven-year-old girl, Blessing. But this time, the parents of the victim believe he did it for ritual purposes.



The civil servant mother of the victim told our correspondent that on Monday, August 17, 2015, when she got back from work and was having dinner with her children, Blessings started to touch her crotch and complain of pain.

“I felt the part she was touching and asked what was wrong with her. I thought she was referring to her lower abdomen and believed it must be stomach ache. But she insisted that it was her private part.

“I asked if she fell down and hurt herself but she simply shook her head. I asked if someone hit her there while she was playing with other children in the neighbourhood, she said no. I started suspecting there was something bigger than what she was telling me.

“I pleaded with her to tell me what happened. That was when she told me about what Baba did. I could not contain my anger. I was shocked, angry and sad at the same time that such an old man could do such a thing to my daughter. My daughter had no reason to lie.”

Blessing’s father, a trader from Ebonyi State, works in the Eastern part of the country while his wife and the children live in Lagos because of his wife’s work.

He was in the East when he received a call from his wife about what had happened to their daughter. He told his wife to take a neighbour along to go and confront Baba, who denied everything immediately.

Baba Sani, a landlord who lives on renting out Danfo buses to commercial bus drivers, lives just two houses away from Blessing’s parents.

The Lagos State Public Procurement Agency (PPA) has published a report which shows the spendings of Babatunde Fashola during his term as the governor of Lagos state.

 



According to the report, the former governor spent N139million on the drilling of two boreholes at the Lagos House, Ikeja.

In 2013 Fashola’s administration spent  N640million for the reconstruction of a car park at the Lagos House, Marina, where the governor lived during his 8 years at office.

The relocation of cables belonging to the Power Holding Company of Nigeria at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital cost N300million while replacement of the railings of a pedestrian bridge on Carter Bridge from Ido to Idumota cost N175million.

The report discloses that Fashola also spent money on the Lagos State University College of Medicine and Ajara-Erekiti-Iragon-Ikoga Road (N220million and N619million respectively)

The construction of an unidentified multi-storey building in Onikan and a 48-bedroom hotel at Lagos State VIP Chalets took N1.2billlion and N1.6 billion.

Fashola spent N510million at the official residence of the state’s chief judge at 4 Thompson Avenue, Ikoyi, Lagos.

According to the report, Ajara Senior Grammar School, Ajara Badagry and Community Senior/Junior Secondary School, Bayeku, Ikorodu got N165million each on an 18-block classrooms.

Buried Alive: Family Smash Into Tomb Of Girl Who Woke Up Screaming & Banging On Her Coffin…Only To Die Again!

A ‘dead’ teenager woke up in her coffin and screamed for help one day after she was buried – but died again before desperate relatives could save her. Grieving family members pictured above breaking through the concrete tomb from where Neysi Perez, 16, had been heard ‘banging and screaming’.



Relatives who removed the girl’s corpse found that the glass viewing window on her coffin had been smashed and the tips of her fingers were bruised. But despite efforts to revive her medics found no signs of life and she was later returned to the cemetery and reburied in the same mausoleum.

Ms Perez, who was three months pregnant, reportedly fell unconscious after waking up in the night to use the outside toilet at her home in La Entrada, western Honduras.

 

It was believed she may have collapsed in an apparent panic attack after hearing a burst of gunfire.

 

But when the teenager started foaming at the mouth her religious parents called the local priest believing she had become possessed by an evil spirit. Relatives told how the priest tried to exorcise her, but she later became lifeless and was rushed to hospital, where three hours later doctors declared her dead.

 

Ms Perez was buried in the wedding dress she had recently used to get married.

 

A day after her funeral, her husband Rudy Gonzales was visiting her grave at the La Entrada General Cemetery when he heard banging and muffled screams from inside the concrete tomb and raised the alarm.

 

The footage shows desperate family members breaking through the concrete block tomb with a sledgehammer, before bringing out and opening up Ms Perez’s coffin to try to revive her.

 

 

Army Arrests Impostors, Boko Haram Fuel Supplier In Maiduguri

The 7-Division of the Nigerian Army, Maiduguri, in Borno State, yesterday said it arrested some impostors and a man who supplies petrol to Boko Haram insurgents in their hideouts.



A statement signed on behalf of the Nigerian Army by Colonel Tukur Gusau, said the Division arrested Alhaji Baba of Gwange area, Abubakar Tijani Lawan of London Chiki and Umar Ali of Gidan Dambe, who claimed to be members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), using the name of the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Major General Lamidi Oyebayo Adeosun and other senior officers to extort money from relations and friends of those being investigated by the Division for terrorism related offences.

“The Nigerian Army viewed this act of criminality as a well calculated attempt by some Boko Haram collaborators and sympathizers to bring to ridicule the successes recorded through the combined efforts of the army and the air force under Operation Lafiya Dole. It has become imperative to alert the general public on the activities of such criminals. You are also requested to promptly report such criminals to the nearest military base or any other security agencies offices”, the statement said.

It added that the Division also apprehended one Mr Bashir Ali suspected to be supplying petroleum products to Boko Haram members in their hideouts.

The suspect was arrested at a filling station in Maiduguri while using a Peugeot 504 vehicle fabricated with an extended 500 litre tank.

During interrogation, Mr Ali confessed using the vehicle to ferry up to 3000 litres of petroleum products daily.
