• Talking too dirty
Please, have control of things you say in our presence. Don’t be too naughty when it comes to your language except you want to remain a GIRLFRIEND FOR LIFE!!!!!

• Laughing excessively
Control the length you laugh in front of us. When we’re not around, you can laugh and bring down the roof if you wish. I was talking to a lady and she laughed so loud that she didn’t know when she polluted.

Halima Abubakar Talks About Her Relationship And How Life Has Treated Her

In a recent chat with Encomium, the actress revealed her relationship issues, why she was depressed and how life treated her during hard times.



When asked about her depression, the actress said “It’s a very huge experience, and coming out of it wasn’t that easy.  A lot of people don’t really understand what being depressed is.  Some may say they are sad, they are not but depressed.  But what happens is that they don’t know they’re depressed, they’re just sad.  Every day they ask such people, they will reply, I just dey jare.  Each day they’re thinking about so many things – they think about money, love, husband, kids and all that, and all these things and more cause depression which many Nigerians don’t know because we’re strong.

We think we’re just sad when we’re in that situation. Initially, I thought I was just low, until I started having migraine. I couldn’t sleep. At a point, I couldn’t even sleep for two weeks. ”
    
Halima also said “You wouldn’t believe it, I was thinking I had migraine, the doctor said I had typhoid.  So, we’re treating typhoid and before I knew it, I was hospitalized. I was in the hospital for a week, treating typhoid. Later, I thought I was okay, I went to Obasanjo son’s wedding in Abeokuta, Ogun State.  The guy married my friend.  So, we all went for the wedding.  While I was there, I was extremely happy, dancing and all that but at the end of the wedding, I started feeling funny.  That night against the next day, I couldn’t really figure out what happened. I just realized I needed to go back to the hospital.  So, the very next day, I had to leave Abeokuta straight to the hospital.  And my doctor said my migraine was back.  And we started talking.  He was asking me questions and when he was going personal, I told him I didn’t want to talk on anything like that.  But he told me I had to so that he could see if what was wrong with me was personal.  I was still on medication for a while, but thank God I have overcome that.  And Insha Allah, it won’t come back.”

In Delta: Pastor Arrested For Impregnating Married Woman And Her 2 Daughters

A pastor has been arrested by the police in Asaba, Delta state capital for reportedly impregnating a woman and her two daughters.

Police say the pastor identified simply as Philips, founded a new generation church around Ogbesowe quarters in Asaba after leaving a popular church to establish his own.

It was gathered that the  pastor Phillips allegedly committed the offence in April, 2015 barely six months after he floated his own church.

According to sources, the woman was a housewife who attended the church with her two daughters.

Confirming the pastor's arrest, Police Public Relations Officer in the State, DSP Celestina Kalu, said the 

suspect made useful statements to the police, disclosing that investigation was ongoing.

Comedian Bovi Involved In Car Accident

The accident happened last night, May 18, 2015. Thankfully Bovi who is one of the best stand-up comedians in Nigeria came out alive. He was only injured in his left eye.

      

Narrating how the accident via his Instagram account today, Bovi said he initially thought his injuries were worse. "Out of hospital, hale and hearty! Just an injured left eye! Last night was nearly the end. On my lane jejeli and this guy rams into me at an intersection. Carry my car dump for side walk like small pikin wey no dey hear word" he wrote.

"I was sure I had been blinded and broken my hip. First thoughts were my family, my debtors of since last year and my jokes wey some people go just thief! But as usual, Godwin!!! When your life flashes before your eyes, it's like that missed call you never heard ring" he further wrote.

His caption which is laced with his trademark humour shows that Bovi is quickly recovering.

Woman Dies During Sex With Lagos Driver

the suspect picked up the victim around Baruwa Estate in the Ipaja area of the state, on Friday. A police source told our correspondent that investigations showed that the suspect took the lady home and as they were having sex, the victim died.

 

 

 

A neighbour was said to have alerted policemen from the Ipaja division, who arrested the suspect and deposited the victim’s corpse in a mortuary.

 

Nobody knew the victim’s name and address, just as no member of her family had shown up. The source said,

 

 “The man was driving his cab that fateful day when the lady flagged him down.

“She asked him for money, but he told her he didn’t have any money on him. He then asked her to enter the car and follow him home. He took her to his apartment in Baruwa Estate and it was that night that the girl died. Investigation showed that it was while he was making love to her that she died. It was the following morning that somebody alerted the police.”

Our correspondent, however, learnt that the suspect, in his confession told the police that he had picked the victim from the bus stop and taken her home when she suddenly died.

Another source explained that the suspect had continued to plead his innocence, saying he only helped the deceased and did not have s*x with her. He said,

 “The man did not deny taking the girl home. But he explained that while she was in his room, she started shouting that she had a headache, and before he knew what was going on, she fell down and died.

“He said he was confused and didn’t know what to do. But obviously, that may not be all the truth.”

The Police Public Relations Officer, Kenneth Nwosu, confirmed the incident.

, “We have arrested the man. As I speak with you, the matter is under investigation at the DCI, to know what actually killed the lady. The deceased’s name and address are unknown.

 

Ijaw Youths Laud Jonathan on Relocation of Project from Lagos to Bayelsa, Draws Battle Line With Oil Companies

Ijaw Youths have hailed President Goodluck Jonathan’s directive that the fabrication of Egina Floating Production Storage and Offloading, FPSO, vessel be relocated to Agge in Bayelsa State.



The $500 million project had earlier been slated for LADOL fabrication yard in Lagos but was controversially ordered for relocation by President Jonathan earlier this month. The directive, which has raised eyebrows as it comes in the twilight of the Jonathan administration, also instructed industry operators to move oil and gas cargoes to only ports in Warri, Calabar and Onne, nearer to the Niger Delta where the projects are to be sited.

The youth under the aegis of Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, in a statement issued in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital on Sunday by its spokesman, Eric Omare, said the directive made economic sense and was in tandem with the Nigerian Content Act, 2010.

“The IYC and indeed the Niger Delta people back the directive of President Jonathan to move the fabrication of oil and gas materials to the Niger Delta where the eventual job is to be done.

“This is not only in line with the requirement of the local content law but is also makes so much economic sense.

“It is common knowledge that Lagos is highly congested and there is need to move some class of cargoes especially oil and gas materials to ports within the Niger Delta region where the oil facilities are located.

Ogun Youth Corper Declared Missing

Marvellous Njoku, a Youth Corps member currently serving in Sagamu, Ogun state, has gone missing.

He was last seen on Wednesday May 13th at his place of primary assignment in Sagamu. According to his friends, his phone is switched and his whereabouts are unknown.

The Civil Engineering graduate is from Owerri, Imo state, but lives in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He speaks English and Igbo fluently.

Possessed Man Eats Baby Live In Front Of Cameras

RESIDENTS in the township of Tabubil, Western Province, are cowering in “horror and fear” after a week-old baby was eaten alive in front of a shell-shocked crowd, allegedly by the father. And the shocking act allegedly continued minutes later at Tabubil police station last Thursday in front of curious onlookers, including policemen and the town’s senior district court magistrate, Patrick Monouluk.



An eyewitness who is employed by Ok Tedi Mining Limited told the Post-Courier that the town is on “red alert”, with residents taking precautionary measures. He claimed parents were restricting their children from going outdoors because of fears that they could also be targets. “This is the talk of the day on the streets here. All parent are fearing for the safety of their children because cannibals are on the loose here,” the source, who sought anonymity because of his employer’s media restrictions, claimed.

 Believe it or not I saw him eating the baby by piercing its body with his teeth while blood spilled from his mouth. Everybody watched him with fear.” Acting Western provincial police commander Peter Philip confirmed the horrific act. He said the man entered his home at Wanbin settlement at around 10pm and started an argument with his wife who was nursing the baby.

Chief Insp Philip said after strangling the wife, he grabbed the child and started bitting its head, neck and bosom.

“The child was crying in severe pain. The wife alerted neighbours who attempted unsuccessfully to take the baby from him because he was allegedly possessed by evil forces.

How do you even report the death of a baby? This is so sad and my heart goes out to her parents. The reigning Pears Baby, Queen Somkene Chukwuka Eze died on Friday May 15th after she slumped in her school and was rushed to a hospital in the Magodo area of Lagos. They tried to revive her but to no avail.



 The fact that she was an Angel can never be over emphasized. Everybody loved her, in church, school and even at her parents offices. The joy that she brought to her family and all of us in her two years knows no bounds. She turned 2 years May 6th” her aunt said

Everyday For The Thief... Man Who Steals Car Parts With His Hummer Jeep Caught In Lagos

It was a case of everyday for a thief, but one for the owner of the property when a highly respected man living in an highbrow estate in Lagos, Harmony Estate in Ifako, Gbagada area of the state, was caught stealing car parts from parked vehicles in the estate in broad daylight.



The man who hitherto had been seen as an example of a hardworking man lives large, driving a Hummer 2 SUV Jeep but unknown to other residents, he as the one putting them in tears anytime they park their vehicles in the streets only to realise that some parts in the cars were removed.



But it was a day of reckoning when the supposedly rich guy was nabbed red handed and parts like vehicle's brain boxes, headlights and other parts were discovered hidden in his jeep.



 His cup was full when the security men smelled a foul play when they saw the man drive into the estate when most people had gone to work and they trailed him only to realise his nefarious acts.

This time, he was not that lucky as he was caught and given a serious beating before he was handed over to the police.

Woman Storms Funeral Home, Repeatedly Stabs The Corpse Of Her Boyfriend’s Ex: SEE WAHALA OH!

Shaynna Sims, 26, reached into the casket of her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend at a funeral home and slashed the dead woman’s face, then smeared her make-up and ran away when family members caught her red-handed. The incident became known to police after a family had complained a body waiting to be interred had been vandalised by an unknown woman.



Sims was arrested on suspicion of illegally dissecting a human body. Later police officers have found a folding knife with the deceased woman’s hair on it, as well as scissors, a box cutter and various makeup items. The attack is alleged to have taken place while the body was in a coffin. Sims is now awaiting her trial and is being held on $20,000 bail, as policeare looking for the attack motive.

According to eyewitnesses, the dead woman’s face was cut from her hairline to the tip of her nose, her makeup was smeared and her hair was on the floor. Funeral director John Wilson giving comments on the incident said: “It’s really unfortunate that it happened.. We have 100 years of experience in this building and nobody’s ever experienced anything like that.”
