Wow World Tallest Man Meet World Shortest Man For Guinness World Record Day

 The world’s tallest and shortest men in the world met for the first time today to commemorate Guinness World Record Day in London, UK.

 

Today is The Guinness Book of Records’ 60th anniversary. In 2004 the annual became the world’s best-selling copyright book. Guinness World Record Day was set up to commemorate the date.

 

Today hundreds of men including Sultan Kösen, who holds the Guinness World Record for tallest living male at 2.51 m, and Chandra Dangi, the shortest man in history measuring only 0.546 m, met to celebrate the occasion.

The tallest man in the world

Mr Kösen from Ankara, Turkey, became the world’s tallest living man in 2009, when he took the title from 63-year-old Xi Shun, from China, who measured 2.361 m in 2005.

His growth resulted from a tumour affecting his pituitaru gland. His stature is such that he must use crutches in order to walk. Kösen lives with his parents, three brothers and sister, who are all of normal height.

You’re A Disgrace To Governance, Festus Keyamo Tells Governor Uduaghan

Lagos lawyer, Festus Keyamo, has said the Delta state governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, is a disgrace to governance for playing “Ping-Pong” with the affairs of the state with ex-militant, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo.



Mr. Keyamo, in an open letter to the governor, alleged that Mr. Uduaghan interfered in the duties of the state electoral commission during the last local government chairmanship election by replacing the Warri South-West candidate with Mr. Tomopolo’s younger brother on the eve of the election.

The lawyer said the governor summoned one Weyinmi Omadeli to his private residence in Warri on Thursday, October 23, 2014- barely 48 hours to the election- and informed him that he had given orders to the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, DSIEC, to replace his name with that of George Ekpemupolo, the younger brother of Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo.‎

“For you to summon Mr. Omadeli on the eve of an election and inform him that his name had been replaced smacks of high-level interference with the job of DSIEC. It clearly shows that DSIEC is only an appendage of the Delta State Government”.

The lawyer listed five reasons why the action by the governor was wrong and said that the governor’s decision “is capable of igniting a crisis that will affect all of us”.

“The decision was taken whimsically and it is unjust, unfair, illegal and ungodly. Consequently, it is
unacceptable and will be challenged legally and politically,” Mr. Keyamo said in the letter.

“It also depicts the sorry and comatose state of DSIEC in the hands of the State Government (it is the same all over the country, anyway).

But, why did DSIEC not have the courtesy to write or summon him to break the news (assuming, but without conceding, that they have the powers to do so?) Sir, you are not the Chairman of DSIEC and you have no business replacing one candidate with another in an election,” the lawyer wrote.

He said it was wrong ‎that Mr. Omadeli’s name was substituted without cogent reasons.

The Nigeria Police Force Have Confirm 47 Killed, 79 Injured In Yobe School Explosion

The Nigerian police on Monday said 47 people were killed while 79 others were injured in the Monday morning  bomb attack on Government Senior Science Secondary School, Potiskum in Yobe State.

The police said a suicide bomber disguised as a student detonated the explosive at the school’s assembly ground  at 7.45 a.m.

 

Police bomb experts are already at the crime scene while the victims have been taken to hospital, officials said.

Reports said the students were converged for the morning assembly when the incident occurred.

The Government Science Secondary School, Potiskum is one of the densely populated boarding schools for boys, located very close to the Potiskum General Hospital in the heart of town.

Potiskum is the largest town outside Damaturu, the Yobe state capital.

The attack on the high school came six days after a similar suicide bombing was targeted at members of the Shiite group, Islamic Brotherhood of Nigeria, also in Potiskum.

That bombing took place at Faydia Islamic school, ran by the Shiite. It is located near the old market in Potiskum.

The news dedicated to Winners’ Chapel International (WCI) and its plans to establish school in the UK, the BBC introduced under the headline “Nigeria ‘witchcraft’ church in bid to open Kent school”.

 

It is provided that the church, which attributes poor discipline to evil spirit and witchcraft, wants to establish a school in Kent.

According to the report, human rights activists and National Secular Society categorically opposed the move asking the authorities to turn down the school bid.

The report recalls a recorded incident when during the service Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, David Oyedepo, slaps a woman who he accused of witchcraft. “Devil!”, the clergyman shouted.

The European chapter of the church, where Oyedepo’s son David Oyedepo Junior is the pastor, is located in the UK,  and it saw the investigation of 27 cases of child abuse related to witchcraft this year. Several groups raised alarm over the teachings of the church, which says in its official website that “disobedience is as terrible as witchcraft”.

Reports that the bomb went off when students of a secondary school gathered for the morning assembly.

The suicide bomber is said to have been a student.

Only last week a suicide bomber killed more than 20 members of the Shiite sect during a religious procession.

Dr Myles Munroe And His Wife Dead In Plane Crash

THE leader of Bahamas Faith Ministries, Dr Myles Munroe, and his wife Ruth have been killed in a plane crash in Grand Bahama.

The crash took place this afternoon and killed all nine people on board the private jet. The plane reportedly struck a crane at the Grand Bahama Ship Yard, exploding on impact and crashing into the ground near a junkyard area.

The Department of Civil Aviation reported that the plane was a Lear 36 executive jet which departed the Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) for the Grand Bahama International Airport.

The plane left LPIA at 4.07pm with nine people on board and crashed while making an approach for landing at Grand Bahama International Airport at 5.10pm, the Department of Civil Aviation said.

A police on source on the island previously said two were feared dead. However, police sources later confirmed that all those on board had been killed.

The police source also said it was believed the group was heading to a conference hosted by Pastor Munroe.

The identities of the other people on board have not yet been confirmed.

The statement said while the department was advised of fatalities, it was awaiting confirmation from police on if there were any survivors.

The Grand Bahama Airport Company Crash Fire Rescue Department responded to the incident, and the Police and Bahamas Air Sea Rescue (BASRA) are presently on the scene.

The department said a full scale investigation will start tomorrow morning at daylight, which will include the Department of Civil Aviation Aircraft Accident Investigation Prevention Unit.

Dressed in a black sleeveless dress, a tiny yellow belt and high heels, Julia, a regular worshipper, in her mid-20s was surprised by the new rule in church that saw her miss the 8.30 mass.

Complaining bitterly about the new rules in her church, Julia said, “Two people, a woman and a man told me that my type of clothes were banned from church and I should change into a proper attire.”

Julia, who wrote on her Facebook page, expressed displeasure at the manner in which she was turned away. She claimed some other ladies wear mini skirts and spaghetti tops in big churches in the city.

“If churches treat people this way, we will shy away from church,” she lamented.

“I am surprised I was not turned away at Likoni Church [that same day]. I think I will start going there,
The church is however insisting that immorality in the area of dressing is no longer permitted.

Prostitutes in Abuja get 48-hour ultimatum to leave the city

Abuja prostitutes have been given a 48-hour ultimatum to leave the capital city, while their customers have also been threatened with the death sentence.



The ultimatum was made by the Secretary for Social Development, Mrs. Blessing Onuh after an official visit to locations where prostitutes carry out their activities in the Federal Capital Territory.

Onuh warned that severe measures had been lined up for sex hawkers, after security agencies combed several red-light districts and made series of arrests.

She bemoaned the menace of prostitution in the state, saying that Abuja’s powerful men are their regular customers.

“They parade a horde of half-unclad girls and women of various ages and sizes brazenly exposing themselves, while openly and desperately beckoning on motorists and passers-by to pick them for the night.”

“They insult, poke rude jokes and pour vituperation on those who look at them scornfully or ignore them. Indeed, for Abuja’s affluent and powerful men, it has become commonplace to place order for these women
on the street or import them from other states and even from far-flung countries in the Caribbean and Asian countries.”

Onuh also added that the prostitutes have become regular attendees of social and political functions in the state.

“High-society social, political functions are incomplete without a harem of these shadowy women. The import of these is that the upsurge requires a holistic framework to be able to deal with this seemingly intractable scourge,” she added.

24-Year Old Man Kills Friend With Machete In Ogun

An Abeokuta Chief Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday remanded a 24-year-old man, Adedeji Adeniyi, in prison over alleged murder of his friend, Akeem Agbadaowo, 25. The Chief Magistrate, Anthony Araba, ordered that the accused be kept behind bars pending advice from the State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP). The accused, whose address is unknown, is facing a charge of murder.

 

 

 

The prosecutor, Insp. Sunday Eigbejiale told the court that the accused committed the offence on May 3 at about 9.50 p.m. at Mokola area of Ogun capital.

 

He said the accused unlawfully killed his friend, Akeem Agbadaowo, by attacking him with a machete and a broken bottle during a dispute.

 

Eigbejiale said the offence contravened Sections 316 and 324 of the Criminal Law of Ogun, 2006.

Rwanda has gone from screening visitors from Ebola affected countries to the U.S.A..All US citizens are required to submit themselves for Ebola Screening.

 They are also screening visitors from Liberia,  Guinea, Sierra Leone,and Spain ..According to a message posted on the US Embassy in Rwanda website 

Many find it funny because people like Donald Trump have slammed Obama for nor blocking all flights from West Africa.. Rwanda is doing the right thing. Ebola is no respecter of nationality..

 

3000 Undergoing Screening For 2nd Batch Of Gombe Mass Wedding

After marrying g out 720 couples across the State in April, the Committee on Mass Wedding in Gombe State today announced it had commenced screening of 3,000 applicants for the second batch of the exercise. The Publicity Secretary of the Committee and Senior District Head of Gombe, Alhaji Abdulkadir Abubakar, disclose this in an interview with the News Agency in Gombe.



He says the participants will go through screening for pregnancy, HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis, among other cases.

He commended the state government for introducing the programme, which is meant to assist the less privileged to get married.

According to him, successful applicants would be provided with dowry, foodstuff, clothing, furniture and kitchen utencils before marriage.

Man Explains Why He Cut Off His man-hood, See What He Says…

A man who goes by the name of “Gelding” recently opened up about why he decided to cut his man-hood and testicles off and become a “nullo.” That is, a man who has removed his s*x organ.


 

“The average person of both sexes will think I’m unbalanced,” Gelding told The Huffington Post in an email.

“[That's] their laymen’s knee-jerk reaction.”

Before he was able to get his man-hood removed, Gelding said, he had to have several consultations with a doctor.

“In my case, my psychologist took me through a number of long dialogue sessions and a full battery of personality tests to develop a formal profile,” Gelding said. “His finding was that I’d be better off in a ‘whole person’ view after having my man-hood removed. That was sufficient to sway a urologist to agree to do the procedure. More harm would result in the long term from not doing the procedure than doing it.”

In an interview with Gawker, Gelding explains what people often misunderstand about “nullos” and what the advantages and drawbacks are of joining this club.

The Principal Secretary to the President, Ambassador Hassan Tukur, met with Chadian Government officials as well as representatives of the Boko HAram sect in N'djamena, Chad on Friday morning.

Securing the release of the 219 Chibok girls abducted by Boko Haram was a major part of the discussions.
